Customer Operational Manager | Denmark
My name is Pernille Sommer, and I have been part of Royal Unibrew from 1995 to 1999, returning again in 2020, and I’m still counting the days as part of the company. For the past several years, I have worked in sales within the on-trade segment (i.e., bars, restaurants, etc.) in the role of Customer Operational Manager.
What I Do
I work with sales and support in the on-trade segment, with responsibility for five employees who all collaborate closely with our district managers, craft specialists, event managers, and key account managers. Our focus is on optimizing daily processes and systems, managing and complying with all cooperation agreements, ensuring accurate master data, and delivering the best possible service to our field force team. Working in sales and contributing to excellent customer experiences is what I truly love about my job.
A Dynamic Workplace
No two days are alike in my job–my tasks are highly diverse, and I’m involved in various projects alongside great colleagues.
I’m part of a fantastic team where everyone does their best to complete daily tasks and solve the challenges we face. What I truly value is the team spirit and the dedication to working hard to find the best solution for everyone.
Royal Unibrew offers a flexible workplace with freedom under responsibility. In addition, passion and dedication truly define our company culture. All my colleagues are incredibly committed and passionate about their work, and I’m genuinely motivated by the energy and enthusiasm around me. We all give a lot of ourselves and share a strong sense of community.
An Entrepreneurial Culture
The company is constantly growing, with new projects being initiated on an ongoing basis. Management is not afraid to try new things–and that mindset and attitude are a great source of motivation for me. It’s a fast-paced environment where I get to take on different tasks, working and sharing knowledge across the organization.
And finally, we have many exciting products in our portfolio that, fortunately, are well known and appreciated outside the company.
